We hope you had a relaxing summer break! As we get back to work, we’re excited to share an important update about our network.
Shortly before the summer break, during our first network meeting, we agreed to change our name from eDNA4Hydro to eDNA4Geoscience.
This means that our homepage will change domain names correspondingly in the near future.
Why the change? We want to open our network to a broader range of geoscientific disciplines and move beyond hydrology alone. Our goal is to build a more inclusive community that welcomes everyone interested in using environmental DNA (eDNA) as a tracer in the dynamic Earth sciences.
By exchanging experiences, sharing knowledge, and working together across disciplines, we can strengthen our research and explore new opportunities for eDNA applications.
We look forward to growing our community and shaping the future of eDNA research in geoscience together.
Yvonne

And there’s more! We’ve already started several activities in preparation for EGU 2027 – so stay tuned for updates!
